The primary work of this position involves performing spay/neuter surgeries (majority feline) at our clinic for shelter animals and occasional exams and consults, with the hope of expanding to the public in the future to provide low or no cost spay/neuter and other medical services for our community. The Rogue Valley Humane Society is located in beautiful southern Oregon that is a great area for families, outdoor enthusiasts, and lovers of great food and good beer and wine.
Our spay/neuter clinic can be high stress and very busy at times. There is a potential of hosting vaccine clinics in the future that would involve contact with the public.
