Collier County Domestic Animal Services is an open-admission animal shelter that accepts over 4,000 animals annually with an over 94% live release rate. In addition to assisting with spay and neuter, relief veterinarians will help with examining, treating, and diagnosing shelter animals for illness and injury, follow up on known medical issues or needed rechecks and treatments, administering rabies vaccinations, providing heartworm treatment for adopted heartworm positive dogs, and routine dentals for adoption animals.
