Description

Have your student loans forgiven and serve the community! We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization affiliated and mentored by the ASPCA Spay/Neuter Alliance. TLC PetSnip, Inc, is a high-quality, high-volume, low-cost spay/neuter and wellness veterinary organization with three locations in Polk, Marion, and Hillsborough Counties. We anticipate our fourth location opening first of 2021 in Pasco County! Our mission is to prevent the unnecessary suffering and euthanasia of cats and dogs in shelters due to overpopulation. We are seeking a full-time, part-time, and relief veterinarian. Since opening our first clinic in Polk in August 2013, we have performed over 62,000 spay and neuter surgeries.

The combination of our modern and well-equipped facility, with our experienced and well-versed veterinary technicians, creates an efficient workflow. Our schedule allows for rest and family life balance. We work an average of 40 hours per week Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities include - Pre-surgical physical examinations and administering pre-surgical drugs - High-quality, high-volume spay/neuter surgery of dogs and cats - Monitoring surgical patients post-operative - Out-patient services such as sick visits and prevention (no x-rays or orthopedics) - Accurate and continuous record-keeping - Clear and concise communications with clients (surgical and wellness patients) - Maximize pet's wellness visit - Provide clear and open communication with veterinary and front-of-house staff.

We are offering a 90-day sign-on bonus as well as an additional bonus after performance review at one year. We will also offer a relocation stipend.
