The ASPCA equine campaign was launched as Help a Horse Day in 2013 as a way to provide a national day of recognition for equine organizations, to spread the word about the lifesaving work they do on behalf of at-risk horses and show their communities how to join in the effort. Our new name is Help a Horse Home: The ASPCA Equine Adoption Challenge.
In 2018, equine organizations adopted out more than 1,000 horses during the two-month contest period, proving they have what it takes to find more homes for horses.
