Every February, the Sacramento Area Animal Coalition (SAAC) hosts a Spay Day during which up to 1,000 dogs and cats are altered, vaccinated and micro-chipped through the joint efforts of a dozen partnering agencies, 10-15 sponsors, and 15-20 veterinary clinics including the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine.
It’s the best bang for the buck.
