The Oklahoma Spay Network, a coalition of about
20 animal organizations in rural counties of southeastern Oklahoma,
recruits private veterinarians to perform high-volume spay/neuter
surgeries for pets of low-income owners in their own clinics, with
their own medical staff, one weekend a month.
This cost-effective, community-building approach has become known as the in-clinic clinic model for spay/neuter.
These people aren’t anyone’s clients.
