Neighborhood Cats, a feral cat support group based in New York City,
teaches caregivers how to trap and alter an entire colony at one time
to achieve the highest impact on the population.

What It Takes
- Caregiver(s) to organize a mass trapping and manage the colonies in the long-term.
- 1 month of planning time.
- A sufficient number of trappers and transporters.
- A holding facility for trapped cats.
- Clinic(s) to perform surgeries and provide emergency veterinary care.
- Funds to cover traps and spay/neuter services.
- Three days of trapping time.
