One of A Kind Spay & Neuter Clinic in Akron, Ohio is expanding and ready to welcome another doctor to our team! Our doctors and highly skilled support staff are devoted to saving the lives of rescued pets and providing high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter and vaccine services for our community. We love the culture, affordability, and heart of Akron, and we know that you will too!

All operations support the mission of saving the lives of animals in imminent danger of euthanasia and enriching the lives of people through rescue, spaying/neutering, adoption, and advocacy on behalf of homeless pets. Last year, our adoption center placed over 4,500 pets in their forever homes. Since opening eighteen years ago, our clinic has performed over 173,000 surgeries. We always practice best medicine, and our team does not cut corners for financial reasons; truly saving every life possible.

We are looking for dedicated professional team members who have a strong passion for improving the lives of animals. Our doctors do not meet with the public or prepare quotes, and the focus is on saving lives. If you have a special interest in surgery, dentistry, and shelter medicine, we would love to discuss this position with you.

We are growing, come and join our team! We have full-time and part-time positions available, including one day a week opportunities and flexible schedules. The doctors are able to choose! Recent graduates and experienced DVM’s are encouraged to apply.

Education:

Licensed in Ohio- Veterinarian in good standing.

One of A Kind Pet Rescue and Spay & Neuter Clinic offers a competitive annual salary for veterinarians from $150,000to $200,000 based on experience (hourly options for part-time). Our generous compensation package as a non-profit will also satisfy tuition forgiveness through the Public Service Loan Forgiveness government program. Paid time off (PTO) is offered to all full-time employees. We do not work weekends, nights, or major holidays (unless you choose). Apply today!
