Nancy, way to come out SWINGING!

We love seeing shelters go all out at Halloween time -- really clever campaigns, innovative events, and cute photos galore of animals in costume that double as promotional material.

Wanna get ahead of the game with ideas for next October? Here's a sampling of great Halloween marketing in the animal sheltering field:

This photo is so cute...it made me think of a couple of movies and a song...so how about

"Dance with the White Dog?"

or "Waiting for Danny (Zuko)"

or...
let's see...1950's...poodle skirt...
she's at a sock hop obviously as she is not wearing her saddle shoes. I don't see any cat's eye glasses and I cannot see her waggley tail...but I think she's also ready for the caption
"How Much is That Doggie in the Window?"

Remember the lyric?...
"...If he has a dog he won't be lonesome
And the doggie will have a good home."
It might have been about buying a pet...but today could just as easily be about adopting at a shelter or pet store.
