Emily and Nancy, you've got it! Loved this wonderful photo that Animal Rescue League of Boston recently posted on their Facebook page for 3 reasons: 1) It's compelling and makes for great social media fodder; 2.) It's a fun way to let Facebook fans know there are bunnies and guinea pigs available for adoption, and 3.) It's a great tool for raising awareness on responsible rabbit/GP ownership. “The rabbits & piggies are given salads every day, of course,” explains ALRB volunteer Amy, “but on Friday mornings, my favorite day to volunteer, I always go to the grocery store and buy a variety of things because I like to make their salads & watch how happy they get when they eat them! Everyone always comments on how delicious they look, so we decided to take a pic last week & post it to show everyone what our rabbits eat in regards to produce, & also to make people aware of how important daily salads are. It's very upsetting to see how many rabbits are surrendered to our shelter who are given a produce-free diet,” reports Amy. ”When they are given their 1st taste, it's the absolute cutest thing!” P.S.
