  1. They’re all Hug-a-bull, love-a-bull and best yet~adopt-a-bull?!

  2. Harriett Weatherford Says:

They have big heads and have all been mistaken for pitbulls.

  3. It looks like one of those “which one of these is a pit bull” posters.

  4. Diana Ritter Says:

All have been referred to as “pit bulls” and all are actually mixed breed dogs.

  5. They all look like they were just spayed/neutered at a great community PetFix event! (I was lucky enough to be there, all such great dogs with really good owners)

  6. They all have the look so often taken to be that of a bully breed or mix thereof.

  7. Ding ding ding—it’s Dave for the win! This beautiful collage represents just a few of the 72 pit bulls and pit mixes who were altered in August at PetFix Northeast Ohio’s “Primp Your Pet” event, made possible by PetSmart Charities. As part of their $1 million pledge to fund spay/neuter that targets cats and pit bulls in 2012, PetSmart Charities worked with 63 clinics, including PetFix, to offer $20 spay/neuter surgeries and free nail trims during this national campaign.

The dogs pictured here had their surgeries (and primping!) at the Cleveland Animal Protective League on August 12. Says PetFix President Timy Sullivan, “We did 37 dogs that day, using two teams—one in the APL surgery suite and the other in our mobile clinic…What a nice way to celebrate the end of statewide BSL in Ohio!”
