  3. Thanks for playing along, guys—you clearly used the force to come up with those responses. We love this slammin’ adoptions signage from Nebraska Humane Society for so many reasons… For one, it’s fun—you guys in sheltering and rescue work can make a promotion to go with any holiday or celebration, and you’re equally adept with pop culture references, too. And if it’s fun—it’ll get your community’s attention, as evidenced by the response when NHS posted this one on their Facebook page. “The dogs featured in this promtion are those who might have been here a little longer, and need a little extra push to find homes. We got great reactions from our fans and several shares, which is what we want,” NHS says. “Plus, it keeps people coming back to our page.”

And what’s REALLY super-cool: the concept and design didn’t cost a thing—not even staff time. “It was done by our college intern, Morgan Braaten, who is creative with a wacky sense of humor,” reports NHS. “She has done a few ‘Star Wars’ types of promos, possibly sparked initially by a dog named Chewbacca…” Do any of your volunteers have artistic/creative/design talents you may not know about or utilize? You may be delighted with what they come up with if you just ask!
