The ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center (APCC) can quickly provide you or your veterinarian with information on treatment and diagnostic aspects of animals exposed to hazardous substances. We can advise via telephone, or we can visit your facility to conduct a field investigation.

We have extensive experience conducting field investigations regarding exposure of animal populations to:

• Agricultural chemicals
• Environmental pollutants
• Pesticides
• Heavy metals
• Feed-and-water-related toxicants

We have access to state-of-the-art diagnostic laboratories at our allied agency, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where we can analyze feed, water and tissue samples to help diagnose the problem.
